Youth, ages 8-11, will be offered the opportunity to train as horse tack and groom volunteers in a four week program, one day a week. The youth will be preparing the horses for our riders with special needs. Trainees will be supervised by two mentor trainers who have worked in the Rainbow Riders program for several years. All participants must attend an orientation meeting accompanied by a parent/guardian which will address safety issues and introduce them to therapeutic horeseback riding, PATH International standards and the policies of Rainbow Riders. Participants may sign up for one four week program. (Two if spots are available.)
